Michael Bolton to perform at Badrutt's Palace Hotel
A star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and in 2012 voted amongst the "Sexiest Men Alive": The American pop musician Michael Bolton does not impress only with his soulful voice - with which he has been awarded two Grammys and sold 53 million Albums. On the 27th December 2013, this world star will appear at the Badrutt's Palace Hotel, St Moritz, as part of the series "In Concert@Badrutt’s Palace".
Successfully launched last year, the "In Concert@Badrutt’s Palace" series of concerts will continue in the 2013/14 winter season. International stars appear in the "Embassy Ballroom" of the legendary grand hotel - the same venue at which Marlene Dietrich once thrilled her audience.
For the two-time Grammy Award winner, (with four nominations), this will be Michael Bolton's first performance in St. Moritz. Bolton's biggest hits include: "How am I supposed to live without you" (1989) and "Said I loved you…but I lied" (1993). In 1997, Michael Bolton’s theme song "Go the Distance", for the Disney animated film "Hercules" was nominated for an Oscar. Micheal Bolton has appeared around the world with other stars including Placido Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti and Ray Charles.
With his charm and timeless style, Bolton has been featured in numerous editions of "People Magazine", as well as being listed amongst the "Sexiest Men Alive" in 2012. He has written songs in collaboration with other celebrated artists, including Lady Gaga, and the legendary Bob Dylan.
