Total Riding Enjoyment: the new Corviglia Flow Trail opens!
St. Moritz offers mountain bikers a new, attractive Offer: the Corviglia Flow Trail. This fun trail leads from the Corviglia mountain station down to St. Moritz. It is suitable not just for "Downhillers" – but for the whole family.
It is not easy to find a definition for "Freeriding". In freeriding, the "Flow" and the fun factor are the important elements. Bikers and the trail should be one. It is unimportant whether it is a technically difficult section, or an infinitely long single track which is being ridden, or whether it’s fast or slow. And the ascent to summits is also part of the concept.
Just as with the new St. Moritz offer for the enjoyment of bikers: the Corviglia Flow Trail. From Corviglia (Mountain Station) over Saas Runzöl and Alp Nova to Chantarella (Middle station) after three months of intensive work, a "flowing" Mountainbike-Trail has been created. Not a downhill course – but a mountain bike trail with sinkholes, alpine flora, mountain pastures and forests, passing through a breathtaking mountain panorama.
The new trail is not just for "Downhillers". This is where the whole family can have fun. Good mountain bike gear with a helmet and gloves is of course a prerequisite. Compliance with the mountain biker’s code of conduct and thus consideration for other users of the track is a matter of honour.
For enthusiastic Flow Trail riders, the Corviglia Bahn funicular is available for uphill transport. But to only ride the Flow Trail when there are so many touring possibilities on Corviglia would be a shame; the Flow Trail is a unique conclusion to a mountain bike tour over the many trails of Suvretta, Piz Nair, and Marguns.
