Functions

The St. Moritz Tourist Board, together with its St. Moritz Sport and Events department is responsible for the arrangement, staging and coordination of local events. The objective of events is to tempt overnight guests to stay longer and to attract new overnight guests to St. Moritz. In particular, the St. Moritz Sport and Events department performs the following functions, some of which are invoiced on the cost-by-cause principle.

Services

• Information office for all activities in St. Moritz
• Care of athletes during altitude training
• Management and sale of the Tourist Board’s own means of communication, such as posters, pins, stickers etc.
• Management and rental of Tourist Board facilities
• Secretariat and organizational tasks for events in St. Moritz
• Support of regional event organizations
• Logistics and distribution of printed matter

Organization

• Organization of smaller events in St. Moritz
• Coordination of all public and/or official sporting and cultural events in St. Moritz
• Construction, operation and maintenance of various local facilities in cooperation with St. Moritz Municipality
• Management of the organization of regional events in cooperation with those responsible for the event, who make up the actual organization committee (e.g. Inline Marathon)
• Organization of snowsport events by the race department (winter)
• Contact partner for all activities in St. Moritz

Communication 

• Publishing of weekly guest information "St. Moritz Aktuell"
• Publicizing events in the village
• Preparing publications and posters
• Management of the website www.stmoritz.ch
  

Projects

• Development and further processing of new projects and events
• Management, processing and implementation of new projects
• Planning the financing of offers and events through sponsorship
• Development of a score card and evaluation and/or identification of events of local and regional importance

Offers

• Preparation and presentation of touristic offers
• Collection of all data on offers in St. Moritz
• Planning and presentation of guest programmes

• Accounting with budget and finance management and planning
• Personnel planning
