Muottas Muragl

Alongside the mountains, which form an impressive guard of honour around the high valley, you can see a very special showpiece of Engadin from Muottas Muragl.

This treat is the lake district, which lies on the valley floor like an open book and is particularly beautiful to read at sunset. Its geographical position in the heart of the Engadin and the oldest railway in Grisons make the viewpoint with sun terrace and children’s playground a must for your holiday.

This high point has also made a name for itself as a starting point for hikes. For example, you can go along the high route to Alp Languard above Pontresina. Here there are two mountain restaurants and a majestic view of the Bernina massif.
