Ice Climbing

The extensive Corn da Diavolezza ice arena can be seen from the gondolas of the Diavolezza aerial cableway. The first artificially prepared ice-climbing wall in the Engadin is 100 metres high and offers extreme-sport athletes an incline of 70 to 100 degrees.

Experienced climbers will find attractive routes covering four pitches. Proficient climbers need between 2 and 3.5 hours. Grades of difficulty vary between W3 and W7.

Access to Corn da Diavolezza ice arena:
After a short downhill run to the old middle station of the chairlift, it is just a five-minute walk. Return from the Diavolezza exit point to the valley station. Time permitting, the piste team also offers return transport by snowmobile. The ice arena is open from approx. mid-December to the end of April (ice conditions permitting).
