Riding

St. Moritz is now the Alpine centre of equestrian sport. Whether summer or winter, you’ll find horse jumping events - Concours Hippique - as well as polo tournaments. The many stables offer every comfort for horses, the bridle paths are well-maintained.

The Wohlwend family enjoy sharing their passion with like-minded people. At these stables near S-chanf, children and adults will find a riders’ paradise year-round, and also the right animals on which to experience the winter world: six good-natured horses, five ponies and a donkey. Children from as young as three years old can enjoy their first experience of riding, on gentle walks with ponies; unsure riders can improve their skills under expert guidance; and confident riders can add a suitably sporty touch to their winter holiday. Whatever guests’ level, Gina Wohlwend and her children offer a fascinating experience of the wonderful world of horses.
