Night Pistes

The thrill of Alpine sport as darkness falls. Here are two tips for great night-time skiing:

Corvatsch Snow Night
Piste addicts and night owls can really get into the swing on Corvatsch every Friday evening. There’s plenty to experience on Switzerland’s longest floodlit piste. On the one hand, the glistening magic of one or more downhill runs under a clear, starlit sky. On the other, fun-filled snowbars, special parties and trendy snow-scene events. Snow Night is unique in the Engadin and also in the Alpine region. Every Friday from 19.00 to 02.00 h, December to April.

Glüna Plaina – skiing by full moon on Diavolezza
Glüna Plaina is Romansh for full moon. And during the winter season, it offers several opportunities for night-time skiing by the light of the myth-shrouded planet. The brightly lit summit station and soft moonlight show the way down the Diavolezza slopes to the valley. “Fabulus!” Which in the Romansh language means magical - and also means that this is definitely a “must-not-miss”experience!
