This railway classic is the most scenic route between sightseeing attractions in the Graubunden holiday region, the high Engadin valley with St. Moritz, Davos, Europe’s highest-altitude town, sunny Canton Valais with its glacier world and the enchanting southern regions. The comfortable train passes through an area of outstanding natural beauty with fragrant, primeval forests, peaceful Alpine pastures, rushing mountain streams and spectacular valleys with a wealth of centuries-old customs.

The world’s slowest express train carves a cross-section through multifaceted Switzerland and offers pure travelling pleasure. Meals prepared by the chef are served in the Glacier Express restaurant car. The Railbar serves coffee, drinks and snacks in your seat.

The Glacier Express is absolutely perfect at any time of year. Seat reservations are obligatory on all trains and can be made at all railway stations and travel agents in Switzerland.
