Corvatsch Furtschellas
The Corvatsch ski area, which boasts the highest summit station in the eastern Alps, lies in the heart of the Upper Engadin at between 1,800 m (5,906 ft) and 3,303 m (10,837 ft) above sea level. Fourteen transport facilities and 120 km (75 miles) of perfectly prepared ski runs – including the longest floodlit night downhill run in Switzerland – also make discerning skiers and snowboarders of all ages grasp for superlatives.
In addition, six mountain restaurants in a breathtaking setting provide guests with culinary highlights. However, the snowy landscape also offers visitors the opportunity to take a more leisurely hike on snowshoes, far away from the slopes. A special highlight is the 4 km (2.5 mile) long in one Königsabfahrt (King Run), leading from the Corvatsch via Lake Hahnen directly to the St. Moritz ski area.
