St. Moritz Art Masters celebrates its tenth jubilee from August 25 until September 3, 2017 with an extensive multifaceted programme. Highlights include works by British painter David Hockney, a solo show by Serbian-born artist Vladimir Veličković, 70 pictures by legendary photographer Peter Lindbergh from three Pirelli calendars, and Lenny Kravitz's paparazzi-like black and white photographs from his FLASH series.

Ferrari will be 70 this year. In honour of the coveted Italian brand, August is the month of the «Cavallino Rampante» in St. Moritz. The central element of «Ferrari @ Passione Engadina» is a high-calibre Ferrari exhibition from 11 to 27 August during which 20 historic racing cars will be displayed in downtown St. Moritz. Wait, that's not all.

Bernina Gran Turismo: reliving the St. Moritz Automobile Weeks

On September 22 - 24 the historic St. Moritz Automobile Weeks of 1929 and 1930 will live again. This Bernina Gran Turismo event centres on a hillclimb race over the cordoned-off Bernina pass. For the first time, all participating cars will be on show in St. Moritz on Friday.
World-class equestrian sport at the Longines CSI St. Moritz

From August 16 to 20, 2017 the five-star Concours Longines CSI St. Moritz will be held for the second time as a tournament at the highest possible level. For this event the world's best riders will travel to the Engadine with their noble steeds. After two years on the polo field in St. Moritz Bad, this elite contest will now take place on the San Gian equestrian sports field, where the Swiss Cup Final will also be held for the first time.

«St. Moritz makes non sense» by artist C. W. Mann lets summer breezes waft over her installations at special places in St. Moritz and surroundings. The arrangement of over forty flags on the St. Moritz peaks and rooftops is on view from July 7 until September 7, 2017. It links 25 locations into a linguistic art parcours and invites us to take a new look at this Alpine metropolis in the Upper Engadine.

This summer St. Moritz Design Gallery, located along the pedestrian passage in Serletta car park, presents some of 130 architectural thesis projects focusing on St. Moritz. The 25 selected projects, both tangible and Utopian, submitted by upcoming young architects show the urban development potential for St. Moritz as an Alpine metropolis.
First Vertical Summer Run – up the World Ski Championship men's downhill course

The Engadine Summer Run will feature an additional event this year – and what a race! On August 19, 2017 the Vertical Summer Run will take place the day before the main event. Starting in St. Moritz village, the course goes up the World Ski Championship men's downhill and ends above the legendary «Free Fall» at 2840 metres altitude.
Classic inline skating event rolls through the Engadine again

On September 10 this year about 500 skaters from 15 nations are expected for the Engadine Inline Marathon. With good reason: this 42-kilometer course from Maloja to S-chanf has long been a cult among inline skaters.
