Alpine Ski World Cup: the ladies are back in town

For the first time since the World Ski Championships last February, St. Moritz will be holding an Alpine Ski World Cup event again. The programme from December 8 to 10, 2017 includes a combination and two super Gs for the ladies.

The Engiadina run provided some exciting racing for the girls last February at the World Ski Championships. Now we can look forward to the same thrills at the Alpine Ski World Cup for ladies. On Friday December 8 there will be an alpine combination event – a super G and slalom – followed on Saturday and Sunday by two super G races. Tickets and packages for all three days are available online at www.skiworldcup-stmoritz.ch or Ticketcorner.

Just as entertaining is the supporting programme. Last February's «House of Fans» at the Schweizerhof Hotel in St. Moritz village centre will be set up again for the award ceremonies and starting number draws. This is also where a ski party will be held every day from Wednesday December 6 until Saturday December 9 as of 4 pm, followed at 9.30 by a free concert with Swiss acts. And nobody who likes to sniff fresh air in the evening should miss the first Corvatsch Snow Night of the season on Friday December 8. Here until 2 in the morning you can ski to your heart's delight on Switzerland's longest illuminated run. And a House party with DJ Mike Candys in the Hossa Bar will get this winter season off to a roaring start.
