New edition of the restaurant guidebook «Let's eat out! Engadine»

At the beginning of November the 2017/18 edition of «Let's eat out! Engadine» was published. It recommends 18 excellent restaurants with a distinctive appeal in the Upper and Lower Engadine – two more than in the first edition last year. This guide is also a book of vouchers for one main course in each of the restaurants recommended.

Bound in linen, and illustrated with specially made photographs, this book is exemplary of the quality and originality of the recommended restaurants. They not only include homely hostelries like the new Crusch Alba alpine inn in S-charl, also open in winter, but also high-class restaurants such as the Walther Hotel's newly renovated Grand Restaurant in Pontresina. Decisive for this selection were the personal preferences of the publisher: excellent cuisine, a wonderful setting, friendly and efficient service, in fact the whole atmosphere. «Our book presents original restaurants with a special cuisine, where one eats well and feels good, where people are happily at work with enthusiasm and expertise. And there are plenty of them in the Engadine», says co-publisher Michael Lütscher.

What is so special about this book is its versatility. Let's Eat Out! is a gastronomic guide, a book of vouchers – and a lot more: The vibrant images by Zurich photographer Basil Stücheli turn it into a real picture-book. And it also makes a nice souvenir of many pleasant evenings. Because each time your host will sign the book to acknowledge your visit – a nice way of ticking off your voucher. Which works like this: come with your book as a couple or more, and you'll be served a main course free of charge.

The publishers of Let's Eat Out! are René and Maximilian Grüninger, with layout by Raffinerie AG.
